Market Day Vendor Rules
Arrival and Setup
- Vendors must arrive and complete setup before 8H00.
- Late arrivals may be denied entry at the organiser's discretion.
- All vehicles must be removed from the market area once unloading is complete.
Trading Hours
- Vendors must remain open and operational until 15H00.
- Early packing up or departure is not permitted without prior approval from the organiser.
Stall Space
- Vendors must operate only within their allocated stall space.
- Walkways, emergency exits, and neighbouring stalls must remain unobstructed at all times.
Products for Sale
- Only approved products listed in the vendor application may be sold.
- The sale of illegal, dangerous, counterfeit, or prohibited items is strictly forbidden.
Cleanliness
- Vendors are responsible for keeping their stall area clean and tidy throughout the event.
- All rubbish, packaging, and waste must be removed from the site after the market.
Food Vendors
- Food vendors must comply with all applicable food safety and health regulations.
- Food must be protected from contamination and prepared in a hygienic manner.
Safety
- Vendors must ensure that their displays, gazebos, tables, and equipment are secure and safe.
- Electrical equipment must be in good working condition and comply with safety requirements.
Conduct
- Vendors must behave professionally and respectfully towards customers, organisers, volunteers, and fellow vendors.
- Harassment, abusive behaviour, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Community market etiquette strongly encourages cooperation and mutual respect among vendors.
Weather Conditions
- Vendors participate at their own risk.
- The organiser is not responsible for losses, damage, or reduced attendance due to adverse weather conditions.
- Markets may proceed in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by the organiser.
Liability
- Vendors are responsible for their own stock, equipment, cash, and personal belongings.
- The organiser accepts no liability for theft, loss, damage, injury, or any other claim arising from participation in the market.
Electricity
- No electricity available. Small and quiet generators allowed.
Compliance
- Vendors must follow all instructions issued by the organiser, venue management, security personnel, or emergency services.
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and exclusion from future markets.
